Manga Farming

Cool idea to plant seeds inside an old manga book. Beats the good ol’ pot.

ArcelorMittal Orbit

Artist Anish Kapoor has won a commission to design a 115m high public artwork at Olympic Park in London, to be built as part of London’s Olympic Games in 2012. I love random public artworks, especially on such a big fuck off scale as this. And I’m sure it has some deep philosophical meaning too… but if you figure out what it is let me know. I just reckon it looks awesome. Follow the link for more info.

The A-Z of Awesomeness

A series of illustrations by Neill Cameron, where he takes each letter of the alphabet, crafts an absurd sentence around it, then brings it to life with an awesome drawing. The above image is my favourite. I dislike Hello Kitty.

Michelangelo Nintendo Remix

I saw La Pietá by Michelangelo 2 years ago when I was in Rome. It was an impressive piece of art, even when viewed from behind a crowd of children 20 rows deep. I think I even took a photo of the crowd just to prove it.
